My Store Policy
I value each and every customer. During the years my book business was in operation every effort was made to have a
store policy that was as customer-friendly as possible without
sacrificing my own business needs.
Items could be reserved, although I did not hold items beyond three
calendar days without the customer's firm commitment to purchase.
I offered courtesy
discounts to booksellers, print dealers, libraries, museums, or
similar institutions. Sales to libraries, museums, or similar
institutions were invoiced, when appropriate.
My store accepted the following forms
Business or personal check. Must be
denominated in US dollars.
USPS money order.
Credit card. Credit card information
can be provided to me by e-mail or by telephone.
PayPal. You need not be a member of
PayPal to pay via PayPal.
Bank wire transfer, but generally only
if the total transaction amount is $1,000 or greater.

Even as a private party, no longer in business, I wrap and package very carefully. Items ship snugly in a
box or are otherwise carefully protected. Unless you desire it, I
refrain from shipping original prints in mailing tubes. Rolling
can promote flaking of inks and pigments, distort fibers, and
cause tearing or creasing if the roll is crushed.
I ship promptly, usually within one
business day of a paid order. All shipments, whether USPS Media Mail or Priority Mail and
Priority Mail Express services are also available and of course
also include tracking. I ship anywhere in the world.
International rates will be determined at the time of sale. Rates
will depend on weight and destination and urgency of delivery; I
will contact you regarding shipping costs. I regret the recent
substantial and unfriendly increase in rates by USPS for
international parcels. I will do my best to work with you to
find a shipping arrangement that meets your needs.
I never seek to make a profit from
shipping fees; I make every effort to quote actual fees. Delivery
is guaranteed for all books and prints, and expensive items are
insured as a matter of course, usually without extra charge. Upon
shipment I will promptly e-mail to you a shipping confirmation,
including tracking information.
I guarantee the condition of every item, including books, prints
and ephemera, as described on my website. If you are dissatisfied
with your purchase (Incorrect Item/Not as Described/Damaged) or if
the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund within ten
days after the estimated delivery date. In any case you must
notify me in advance and await my reply before shipping back to me. When I accept return of an item that is an incorrect item, or
not as described, or damaged, or lost in transit, I will refund
the purchase amount in full as well as your original shipping
cost. Inasmuch as I am no longer officially in business and am selling off remaining inventory as a private party, if you've changed your
mind about an item that you've ordered I will not accept the
return of an item due to buyer remorse.
