Between 1891 and 1900 he produced almost 700 drawings for Gil Blas Illustré, which were produced in two colours... The exhibition and catalogue contain twenty colour drawings which are being shown and published for the first time. All the drawings, which were executed between 1892 and 1895, were originally preserved together in a book entitled, Sur le trottoir."
