This is a facsimile of the 1855 edition published by longmans, green, brown, & Longmans, London. Undated but presumed 21st century issue date. 11 x 8.5 inches. Aubergine leatherette (imitation leather) binding with crisp gilt-stamped lettering to the spine. Unbumped spine head and tail, with sharp corners. With 118 numbered pages, and with B&W frontispiece illustration. Numerous blank pages bound in at the end of the book. No demerits observed and an immaculate copy, inside and out. Binding protected by a clear Mylar over-wrapper. A Near Fine copy.
