Ce n'est pas une édition bilingue. Texte en français uniquement, pas en anglais. Il a été tire de cette édition 50 exemplaires tirés sur vélin des papeteries de Rives, numéroté à la presse. Cependant, cette copie manque un certain nombre. This is not a bilingual edition. Text in French only, not in English. 50 copies only were issued on special Rives vellum paper, here a sturdy card stock. However, this copy is unnumbered. Presumed printed and bound in France. 15 x 11 inches. A paperback with plain beige wrappers with European-style over-wrappers. The front over-wrapper with red- and black-stamped lettering and also with a small monochrome illustration pasted in to a blind-stamped space, all to a handsome effect. Mild age-toning around the over-wrapper edges, else impressively clean. Front wrapper and over-wrapper with half-inch separation at top of spine, a minor issue. The text block has integrity. With 25 numbered pages, interspersed with 4 tipped-in B&W figures, and with 8 additional images constituting 7 monochrome plates. The plate sheets with corresponding tissue guards in fine condition. An impressively clean and presentable copy. A few of the pages remain unopened, hence not fully read. Deemed Very Good. This catalog details an amber Kouros or Apollo discovered at Fiumicino, Italy, not far from Rome.
