A catalogue for a traveling exhibition, November 16, 1988 to July 9, 1989. Presumed first printing of the first edition. Purple cloth binding, with crisp gilt-stamped lettering to the spine. Unrubbed and exceptionally clean. Unbumped spine head and tail, and with sharp corners. Text block firmly bound in. 11.25 x 8.75 inches. With xiii and 373 numbered pages of text, interspersed with numerous B&W figures and several full-page color plates. All pages of this book are heavy coated stock. Immensely clean internally. The pictorial dust jacket is unclipped and has minor wear at the head, tail and corners. A Near Fine copy in a Very Good Plus DJ. Featured are Greek, Etruscan and Roman bronze sculptures.
