Present are four volumes from the series, Abu Salabikh Excavations, by the British School of Archaeology in Iraq. Please note that Volume 4 was published in two parts, a Text volume and a Plates volume. The Plates volume is NOT present in this grouping. Present are: The West Mound Surface Clearance (1983); Graves 1 to 99 (1985); Catalogue of Early Dynastic Pottery (1987); and The 6G Ash-Tip and its contents: cultic and administrative discard from the temple?, Text volume (1993). Printed in England. Original plain paper wrappers in a medium blue color, with crisp black-stamped lettering to the front wrappers and to the spines. A few of the corners slightly bumped. Vol. 3 with a 1-inch tear at the fore edge of the front wrapper, a cosmetic issue only. Wrappers for all 4 volumes very clean. 11.75 x 8.25 inches. The first three volumes with B&W figures and illustrations. Vol. 1 with vii and 111 pages plus XII plates and a pull-out map. Vol. 2 with vi and 224 pages plus XXVII plates and two pull-out maps. Vol. 3 with iv and 189 pages plus IV plates. Vol. 4 with x and 234 pages. The volumes are very clean, inside and out. A Very Good Plus set of copies.
