Pea green paper hardboards with black-stamped lettering to the front board. Moderate soiling to the binding. Gently bumped spine head and tail and corners. 9.75 x 7 inches. With 70 numbered pages of text, including details for 267 exhibition items. Following the text section is an illustrations section with extensive plates, all on semi-glossy paper. Featured are miniature paintings, ceramics, bronze works and carpets. The half title page for the illustrations section with fingering marks. Moderate off-setting from the pastedowns to the opposite FEPs. Else a clean interior. A Good Plus copy. This exhibition of Islamic art is believed to have been the first of its kind to be brought to San Francisco.
