Handsome cloth bindings, with crisp design to the front boards and crisp lettering to the spines. Vol. 4 with very small, dark blemish to the lower corner of the front board. Else the bindings are very clean. Generally unbumped spine heads and tails, and with sharp corners. Note some spine lean to Vols. 1 and 4. Textblocks firmly bound in. With 420, 264, 212 and 320 numbered pages. All volumes replete with full-color illustrations on semi-glossy paper. The half title page of Vol. 1 defaced by previous owner stamp, and a few lines of notes in ink handwriting. Amended price estimates appear in blue ink handwriting throughout the book. A few pages of the book extend beyond the text block and were not properly trimmed. Vol. 1 is a Good Only copy in a Good Plus DJ. The half title page of Vol. 2 with previous owner stamp, else exceptionally clean. Vol. 2 is a Very Good Plus copy in a Very Good DJ.
