Inscribed and signed in a neat blue ink hand by the artist on the reverse of his photo portrait. The text is translated from the Basque into Spanish. Text composition by Biltex. Illustration layout and design by Oficina General de Inventos Paradox. Printing and binding by Imprenta Grafilur, Basauri, Bizkaia, Spain. Quarter charcoal cloth binding with dove gray paper hardboards. Generally unbumped spine head and tail, with trivial bumping to the corners. Very clean binding. 12 x 12 inches. Text block firmly bound in. Black paper pastedowns and FEPs. With 118 numbered pages, and with numerous full-color, full-page plates, almost all on coated stock. Also with several duotone images throughout. Also with die-cut sheets in patterns designed by the artist. A very clean volume, and rather tight, with little hint of shelf life. Gently read. No remainder marks. The unassuming dust jacket is quite plain on the outside but the flaps open to reveal a clever design. The DJ is unclipped, and there is moderate edge wear to the spine head and tail. A Very Good Plus copy in a Very Good Minus DJ. Scarce monograph on the Spanish Basque painter and sculptor Agustín Ibarrola [b.1930].
