This is the complete third volume, including Parts I, II & III, in a publication on Samothrace constituting Number LX in Bollingen Series, sponsored by and published for Bollingen Foundation. Plates printed by the Meriden Gravure Company, CT. Composed, printed and bound by Kingsport Press, TN. NOT ex-library. Brown buckram binding, with crisp gilt-stamped lettering to the front boards and spines. Generally unbumped spine heads and tails, with fairly sharp corners, except that the upper corners of the Plates volume are gently bumped. 12 x 9.25 inches. Text blocks firmly bound in. xxxv, 387, xv, 304, and vi numbered pages of text, plus CXVI B&W plates in the Plates volume.Additionally the two text volumes are interspersed with numerous B&W plates and illustrations, some of which are fold-out and all on heavy coated stock. Note that the uppermost part of the corners of all pages in the Plates volume are gently bumped, not at all into the text or illustrations and rather minor in any case. An immensely clean copy, and quite tight. Either unread or very gently read. Attractive plain buff DJs, unclipped. The DJs in clear Mylar DJ protectors. A Near Fine set of three volumes in Near Fine DJs.
