The book front cover states, "Philatelic Bureau" and the rear cover logo states, "Royal P. & T. Deptt." [sic], a reference to the Department of Posts & Telegraphs. That Department existed from about 1974 to 1996, when it became the Bhutan Postal Corporation. This booklet of stamps could not have been issued prior to 2000, thus the designation is merely fanciful. Oblong, 6.25 x 9.25 inches. Royal blue silk [or silk-like] fabric binding with crisp white-stamped logos front and back. Ten pages of stamps, all in pristine condition, and with fine tissue guards tipped in. The pages are stiff board in charcoal color. The stamps are slipped in behind transparent Mylar windows. Stamps include: Greetings, Earth Rabbit Year 1999, a large sheet with one stamp and decorative border; Medicinal Plant, a large sheet with four stamps; Lunar Dragon Year 2000, a large sheet with one stamp and decorative border; Flowers of Bhutan, a large sheet with one stamp and decorative border; Rhododendrons, Our Nation's Wealth, a large sheet with six stamps and decorative border; a complete sheet with twelve bird stamps; a complete sheet with twenty-five insect stamps; The Medicinal Flowers of Bhutan, a large sheet with one stamp and decorative border, and flanked by two additonal flower stamps apparently from the same series; a page with six flower stamps and two animal stamps, including 1997 Cuon Alpinus and 1994 Wood Dog Year; and a page with eight flower stamps.
