Vol. IIII (IV) of a series. This publication is bilingual in English and Japanese. Preface dated Autumn, Showa 15. Printed and bound in Japan. Golden-beige silk [or silk-like] fabric boards with purple ribbon ties. Presumed stab-sewn under-binding, with some attractive brocade work at the spine head and tail. With handsome paper title label to the front board. Unbumped spine head and tail, with sharp corners. Exceptionally attractive and unsoiled binding. Oblong, 8.75 x 12 inches. Text block firmly bound in. Handmade paper pastedowns/FEPs. With dozens of full-page color paintings of flower arrangements, each with corresponding notes. With the small sticker of the original bookseller, T. Z. Shiota, to the rear pastedown. No foxing or other demerits observed. An exceptionally clean volume, with evidence of moderate shelf life. Very gently read. No remainder marks. In the original medium-duty, plain manila paper slipcase with black-stamped lettering. A Very Good Plus copy in a Very Good Minus slipcase.
