Issued for the year 1905, this is an almanac and a guide for various folk remedies for various ailments and conditions. Printed in Cleveland, OH, by J. B. Savage Print. Color chromolithograph wrappers front and back, the front illustrating the eponymous Good Old Granny ringing three large bells, the back depicting a girl nestled against a protective Saint Bernard dog. Approximately 8.5 x 6.25 inches. 32 numbered pages. Small hole with pink string to the upper left corner, presumably for hanging the almanac at arm's reach. The interior is age-toned; the paper used is no doubt somewhat acidic. There is a brown blotch of approximately two square inches in size at the middle of the bottom of each page. Text covered by the blotch remains legible. Else generally a clean copy. Downgraded to Good Plus due to the blotch; otherwise would be very good. Treats of topics such as weather predictions, diptheria microbes, pine-tar-honey solution, walker's remedy, catarrh, and the like. The entire publication is essentially a folksy promotional for a product called Dr. Bell's Pine-Tar-Honey.
