Presumed first printing of the first edition. Printed in the USA. Medium gray-green buckram binding, with crisp dark green-stamped lettering to the front board and to the spine. 7.75 x 5.25 inches. The binding is exceptionally clean. Virtually unbumped spine head and tail, with sharp corners. The text block is firmly bound in. With 91 numbered pages of text, and with 21 full-page B&W technical drawings by the author. An immensely clean copy and in superb condition for its age. In the original, pictorial DJ, burnt orange design and lettering over beige background. Not price-clipped. Edge-wear along the entire top edge of the DJ and at the corners. Moderate-size chips at the DJ spine head and tail and at the corners. All in all a clean and presentable DJ. DJ with a Mylar DJ protector. A Very Good Plus copy in a Very Good Minus DJ. Scarce, especially with the DJ. Sections include: tools, forms and shapes, a ship in a bottle, fans and more, all superbly illustrated.
