This is a 1920 reprint of a pamphlet first published in 1908. Plain brown wrappers, age-faded, with black lettering. String-bound. With lightly bumped corners. 9.5 x 6 inches. 19 numbered pages detailing many woodblock prints, and a few fan designs and surimono. Also with 8 full-page monochrome plates. Reverse of front wrapper with small bookplate and also with previous owner initials in soft lead pencil. Else a very clean copy. Gently read. A Very Good copy. From the private library of Herbert McLean Evans [1882-1971]. He was a highly regarded U.S. anatomist and embryologist. He was an ardent collector of rare books and of Japanese ukiyo-e prints.
