Plain beige wrappers with black-stamped lettering. Wrappers are age-yellowed and with some pencil notations on back wrapper. Text block stapled together at bindery. With unnumbered pages of text, listing in detail 238 lots offered for sale. Also with XVIII B&W plates, being reproductions of Japanese woodblock prints. A fairly clean copy. A Good Plus copy. From the private library of Herbert McLean Evans, with his initials in soft lead pencil to the back of the front wrapper. Evans [1882-1971] was a highly regarded U.S. anatomist and embryologist. He was an ardent collector of rare books and of Japanese ukiyo-e prints.
