This is a bilingual edition in Chinese and in English. Printed and bound in China. Published in the 1990s. Black buckram hardboard bindings, with crisp gilt-stamped lettering. 8.5 x 6 inches. Generally unbumped spine heads and tails, with fairly sharp corners. Regarding Overhanging Houses of the Tujia Nationality, note that the textblock is starting to separate from the binding near the rear hinge. Each volume with several pages of Chinese text and with many unnumbered pages of B&W archival photo illustrations on coated stock. Volumes are generally very clean and tight, with moderate shelf life. Gently read. No remainder marks. Lovely pictorial DJs, unclipped, with moderate rubbing and scant edge wear. Very Good copies in Very Good DJs.
