Note that thiis is Part II only of a two volume work. Annales du Musée Guimet, Bibliothéque d'art, Nouvelle Série II. Presumed first printing of the first edition, 1928. Author's preface dated November 1924. Presumed printed and bound in France. NOT ex-library. Contemporary heavy-duty binding. Medium blue buckram, with fairly crisp gilt-stamped lettering to the spine. Light rubbing to the boards, else a reasonably clean binding. Moderate bumping and light abrasion to the spine head and tail, and slight rubbing to the gently bumped corners. Joints tender but holding; a crack is evident between the first and second signatures. The book is moderately cocked. 16.5 x 12.5 inches. T.E.G. There is no text section. With a title page plus Plates 81 through 200 complete; we can find no missing plates. All plates full-page in B&W.
